END OF SEASON REFUNDS 02.28.2021
Hello SARA families!
Thank you all for your patience while we have been preparing to issue refunds to players for the 2020-2021 ringette season.
Some families will be receiving their refunds electronically and others will be receiving the refund via cheque mailed to their home address. Refunds processed electronically will be deposited back to the payment method used during registration (Visa or Mastercard).
How will I know whether I will receive my refund electronically or by cheque?
- We have processed refunds electronically wherever possible
- All families receiving a refund via cheque will be contacted by email to confirm their mailing address.
- Refunds will be processed via cheque in the following circumstances:
- If we are not able to process you entire refund amount using transactions dated August 31 or later (as we are not able to refund payments that were made greater than 180 days ago)
- If you registered prior to August 30 and you paid in full (as we cannot use that transaction to process a refund due to to being greater than 180 days ago)
- Refunds will be processed using one method - we will not be splitting refunds between electronic and cheque
Why is my refund split into multiple transactions electronically?
- We are only able to refund amounts less than or equal to the amount you paid on one transaction during the registration payment process.
- For example, if you paid $100 on September 1 and $100 on October 1 and your refund is $150, we will refund $100 from the October 1 payment and $50 from the September 1 payment which will show up as two refunds ($100 and $50) on your credit card statement
Where will my cheque be sent?
- You will receive an email from the Treasurer (treasurer@stalbertringette.com) requesting confirmation of your address on file
- If we do not receive a response from you after two attempts to confirm your home address, we will use the address on file to mail the cheque
When will I receive my refund?
- All electronic refunds were processed as of 6pm on February 26, the refund should appear on your credit card statement shortly
- Cheques will be mailed before March 31 to allow time to confirm addresses, and prepare the cheques

How much will I be receiving for my refund?

*Please note that any player who is not paid in full with SARA will have their refund adjusted accordingly
**Full Time Goalies U14-U19 will also receive their 50% registration refund for the 2020-2021 season when end of season refunds are processed; your total refund will equal 75% of your registration fee
